I'm a native of Western New York, now living in Manor, Texas, just outside Austin. For more than 30 years I served customers at my family's restaurant, Stone's Countryside Tavern in Churchville, New York — which is where I learned that running a business is mostly a long series of practical decisions made without perfect information.

For the last eight years I've worked for one of the industry leaders in business formations, and in that time I've assisted thousands of business owners with starting, maintaining, and protecting their businesses. Most of them arrived with the same handful of questions, and most of those questions had straightforward answers that nobody had ever sat down and walked them through.

That is what a consultation is for. I won't file your paperwork for you and I won't tell you what the law requires — I'll walk through where you are, what your options look like, what each one tends to involve, and what to ask the professionals you eventually hire. If that saves you a month of guessing or one expensive wrong turn, the session has paid for itself.
